BREAKIN’ AWAY takes you deep into the world of Breakin’ (Breakdancing) through the lives of four incredible dancers: Alex "El Niño" Diaz, Melissa “Mel” Adao, Esita “Flyya” Calhoun, and Marco “D-Tex” Hernandez Jr.

 

After Breaking’s debut on the Olympic stage in 2024, these dancers are at a crossroads: they’re navigating a world where their art form is receiving more attention than ever while working to protect a cultural tradition they’ve devoted their lives to.
